Might revisit next year, but just wasn’t grabbing me and I’ve moved on now.

Kinda liked the vibes for October, but the story wasn’t grabbing me.

So slow and I was getting bored. Looked up spoilers to at least know what happened and glad I didn’t push through, because I don’t think it would have been worth another 330 pages 😅 Really disappointed in this one after seeing it recommended and loved by others, but oh well. I’ve got too many other exciting reads to get to, so I’m proud of myself for DNF’ing!!

I will probably come back to this one again at some point. I can feel that my mood has shifted and I want to let that lead me to my next read.

Kind of bored and disinterested with this one.

Nothing Much Happens: Cozy and Calming Stories to Soothe Your Mind and Help You Sleep

I think it's a lovely book and concept. The couple of stories I did read were delightful for winding down my mind at bedtime. This is more the type of book I'd like to own and keep at my bedside, but this was a library copy so I'm moving on for now haha.

Had been listening to the audio to catch up to where I’d left off before settling into the physical book again

A Practical Wedding: Creative Ideas for a Beautiful, Affordable, and Stress-Free Celebration

Sadly, it was just hard to focus on any kind of reading during this season. DNFing this one since I'm a week away from getting married and it's a bit late to go back and do things any differently haha. HOWEVER, I really wish I had gotten around to reading this one because from what I skimmed through a bit, I really could have used this during the process of planning our wedding (might have saved us some stress AND money), but alas here we are at the finish line haha.

So while I haven't read this in its entirety and probably won't, I very highly recommend this to any bride who wants a practical resource that's different from all the magazines and websites and books telling you that you have to spend tons and tons of money and do all the things or that you need to DIY every single thing to save money (because it's not always worth the time or the cost). If my engagement had been a bit longer, I definitely would have taken the time to dive into this before jumping into everything.

Started listening to this one on a long road trip and picked up a couple of good thoughts but not really interesting enough to keep going.
