I had to be honest with myself and admit that I just don't care where the plot is going and abandon the series at this point. Good, but not good enough for me to keep going.

Meh. I checked out the first several volumes of Library Wars because I find it hard to resist books about librarians and liked the sound of the Fahrenheit 451-esque plot. But I didn't enjoy the shallow characterization and undertones of misogyny, and I don't plan to continue the series.

There is some legit creepiness going on with the romantic relationships in this series, but I still liked it for some reason? Sakura is charming enough to make me keep reading.
