“[I]t is a glory and a privilege to love what Death doesn’t touch.” I envy the people who will read this book 100 years from now, if the world persists that long.

This novel is making me feel terrible in a way that I don't like or need right now. Probably will finish it later, because I love Night Film. Left off on page 143.

DNF, but only because I've kept this on loan from a work friend for a shamefully long time, and I know I'm not going to finish it by the end of the year, and it haunts me every time I'm on Goodreads. I'm governed too much by my moods to borrow books from people! Will need to buy a copy for my own collection at some point.

I think I have to break up with Agatha Raisin with this one. The homophobic and body shaming comments are distracting, and I can’t focus on the mystery.
