DNF a little more than halfway. I realized that I hadn't listened to the audiobook in days, and I hadn't even thought about it. At all. I wasn't thinking, "Oh no, I missed out on my audiobook today." I wasn't wondering what was going to happen. And I think that's reason enough to abandon ship.
DNF @ page 109. I simply can’t. I already kind of couldn’t, but then I talked to someone about it, and I fully ceased to be able to read this book any longer.
This is well-written, well-drawn, and incredibly important, but I just can’t right now. I’m already in favor of a free Palestine, and I’m getting information about the current situation multiple times a day. I need to do something else in my reading life.
DNFing for now because I haven’t touched it in months, and seeing it on my very single self’s bedside table every night isn’t doing my mental health any big favors.
