This was one hell of a ride. Honestly, the book itself was a little slow for me. Very descriptive. I also struggle with “woe is me” main character perspectives. 

I’m giving this book 3 stars because it’s been weeks and I STILL think about the ending. It’s wild. Overall, not a bad read for a thriller lover. 

Couldn’t put this book down. Finished it in less than 72 hours. Keeps you second guessing. And just when you think you’ve figured it out... guess again. 

I do appreciate a good twist in a book and this one delivers it early on. While the ending fell a little flat for me, I was still hooked and flew through this book. 

Megan Goldin might be one of my favorite authors after this and The Night Swim. She builds such suspense that I simply cannot put the book down. This one kept me guessing until the very end. A one-of-a-kind plot. Would recommend to any suspense or thriller fans! 

Colleen Hoover is excellent at writing stories that are incredibly unpredictable. This is a tough read as it’s emotional and has some really tough abuse scenes. Colleen challenges the way we think about marriage before you even realize she’s doing it. Definitely recommend. 

I’d definitely recommend this book to any thriller lover. I hit a point where I simply could not put it down. I enjoyed the way Kimberly set-up the story. Very suspenseful! 

I really enjoyed this book. LOTS of content warnings as the book centers around a rape trial. I enjoyed Megan’s writing and thought she did an excellent job telling this story. Would definitely recommend. 

This is my favorite type of book to read - multiple viewpoints, fast paced, suspenseful, and short chapters. I did like how everything was slowly pieced together, kept me hooked. 

This one is DARK. Reafers, beware. I love a good psychological thriller, the darker, the better. It is a big read and I really had to sit myself down and force myself to get through it chunk by chunk. It’s very detailed and written well. Suspenseful in the best ways but also pretty gory. 

Wow. Riley has done it again. Shocked me beyond belief. I tore through this book, desperate for answers. It did not disappoint.
