Il diario dello psichiatra scrittore sui suoi anni nel manicomio di Maggiano, diventato qui Magliano. E del diario ha lo stile onesto, ruvido, spezzettato. Ma anche delle confessioni molto intimo sullo stato casino di chi si trova a contatto con la pazzia tutti i santi giorni, uno che ci ha vissuto in mezzo per decenni. Bello nel frammento
Love this book, the way it's all intertwined. Theories and life of a psychologist, Winnicott, her own sentimental life, her childhood, the making of her career and her first book, all around her mum. Such a subtle and complex book, much more layered than Fun home, which was already awesome. This is slow-burningly stunning. All the love
i really appreciated the candor which the writer used to talk about himself, and what happened to him, he didn't cover or hide anything, nor even the most "annoying" to expose details, he's been superbrave! what came out is a lucid experience with some beautiful pages, easytoread by anyone, but not more of a kind of self-help book than a piece of literature
