I liked the granny-niece relationship, and of course I liked them individually, it's a novel based on nuanced and very "human" characters. Very Hip
I usually love books for children, but this was supposed to be funny, and it just wasn't. Though it's not totally a no, it's kinda nice...

Possibly one of the best books ever. Gripping, powerful, I stayed with my breath kept all the time, sometimes so much it was painful. To think that with only two characters and not really much happening in terms of facts, and still so really breathtaking. To see both characters change and evolve in so raw conditions, raw as the style of writing itself. This book is amazing. There are so many things that got me thinking. It's as if it goes to the trueness of anyone's life baring it of anything. It's about the meaning of life itself. I'm amazed.
It took my about 20 days to finish this book, and this says A LOT about how much I liked... If the first 2 of the saga actually hooked me, this one didn't, at all. Of course I still love Daemon and Katy, but I still prefer the angsty thing they had in the first one. And nothing happened in this 3rd installment, really. everything was a training for the last few pages. And of course I'll read the 4th one but I must say, only because of the huge cliffhanger. I think I wouldn't otherwise.
