ahhhhh. 🥹
this was my FAVORITE of The Evans Family series!! nikita & jaxson were so HAWT, their chemistry was so intense & i have yet to identify with the FMC in the evans series as much as i have with nikita. the spice was PHENOMENAL 🥵🥵🥵 NO NOTES. i did listen to this on audiobook & as a wlw, nia serge's voice makes EVERYTHING better.
my only note would be that the verbiage in the entire series can be a bit repetitive, but for me, listening on audiobook made that a non-factor for me. this was the BEST spice i have read in a WHILE.
one thing about the evans family is they gonna fall in love, chile ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚

Graphic: Sexual content
too many grammatical errors. i don't always mind but sometimes it hinders the readers ability to get immersed in the story. in this case, that's exactly what happened.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life
DID NOT FINISH
Didn’t finish this book. Not really interested in finishing this book either. The book felt really nonchalant and gave off privileged white male energy. Wouldn’t recommend to other black women
the plot line has SOOOO much potential, but the writing does not flow & i couldn't force it. the overuse of aave was a bit too much for me. describing a vampire as "with the shits" pls? smsjdjdkk. describing a characters lips as "d!ck suckers" just might be TOO "black" for me, idk. the storyline feels everywhere... idk... but the concept of Kildare Bondeaux & his abilities as a vampire had a lot of potential. i would definitely reread this if it was rewritten as a full length novel & maybe a different, more mature/developed writing style?
