each book in this series is better than the last, i loved this one. i love a good second chance romance & the characters had (and have had) undeniable chemistry. lewis the loser stayed where he belonged, in the past. lame ass! the spice is classy, but still deliciously filthy.

This was an incredibly difficult, but familiar pill to swallow. I found myself shedding tears & wanting to protect the FMC. This story made my heart ache. So many adults had the opportunity to stop it & allowed the abuse to continue. It was devastating to watch a woman be an accomplice in the level of abuse, despite her being a victim herself. Unfortunately, it was very realistic. I found myself approaching visceral anger as the story came closer to the end, afraid that Enchanted wouldn't be able to grab hold of a single piece of justice. I even caught myself thinking Gabriella Garcia was a figment of her imagination, which added to the heaviness I felt for Enchanted. The ending was very satisfying. Whether she had killed Korey or not, he got the slow, painful death he deserved.

Despite the heaviness of the content, this was wonderfully written. I enjoy Tiffany D. Jackson's writing style very much, especially knowing she's well-researched and each book is typically based on a real case. I look forward to my next TDJ read.
