This book had a lot going on and I felt the author was throwing a little of different story lines into the book seemingly and it of nowhere. The first part of the book was very sweet and I enjoyed it but as the plot got bogged down in the second half, I felt a little lost.

A Gothic horror novel inspired by Jane Eyre. This book was pretty fast paced but sometimes I felt I missed parts bc the plot moves very quickly. The main character was a badass and I really liked her. The library ghost that used quotes in books to threaten people was my favorite. Fun read for sure.

This book had a lot going on but the plot twists made it so much fun. I really enjoyed the characters and getting to know them for such a long period of time. Loved the story and how the author made such a wonderful, small town for everyone. Great romance read!

Really great slow burn romance. The author did a great job building up the chemistry of the two main characters and they had a wonderful romance. A lot of history set around New Orleans after the war.

This book was extremely heartbreaking but in such a good way. The author poured her soul into her writing to connect herself with her family after the death of her mother. I was crying almost the whole time. The story truly had me reflecting on my own parental relationships.
