If there was half stars I'd give this book an additional half star. I neither liked or disliked it. This was a strange book. I have no idea why I read the whole thing but found myself continuing. I never really connected with any of the characters and it didn't seem to have a plot. The ending just stopped. There was not the traditional "they lived happily ever after" or everything all finished up. I turned the page looking for the next chapter. Just different.
I just finished reading this book. It was an easy one to finish in just 4 days because it was hard to put down!
A unique plot that pulls you right into being part of the family! It's hard to dislike any of the key characters. You become part of their world; from the powerful other-side-of-the-law drama to the hot and steamy sex to the loving family scenes, you're there! I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see what this author has created for me and the Stern family next!

I loved this book! It's an easy book to read in a few days! If you like hot and steamy then this is the book for you! You are drawn into the relationship between Marcus and Sally. The sex scenes are described in such a way that you feel like you are there!

I grew somewhat tired of this book about 3/4 of the way through. There was just too much sex, it became unrealistic. I even started skipping over those sections. I will likely not read the rest of the series. I suspect it will be exactly the same.
