I enjoyed the story... I read it in a day (two mornings). It moved a good pace. There didn't ever seem to be lull or a boring place that I would skip over like I do when this drag on.
I really didn't like the character Owen. I didn't like Izzy either. I'm pretty sure in real life I wouldn't like Izzy. And on top of that, didn't like the relationship of him and Izzy, but maybe that was intended :)
I do wish there had been a bit more description about why/how things ended with Lucy and Ben. That part was rushed through, so that would be my only complaint.

This the first book I've read of Sarah Dunn's and I do plan on checking out the others.

I was disappointed by this book. It wasn't a page turner like many others. The story seemed to drag with no exciting plot twists but I kept reading since so many reviews claime there was an exciting twist. I never found that excitement.
There are also points in the story where I found it hard to believe that a police officer or private investigator (with policing background) would do... like leave vehicle keys findable by a suspect.
Although I like the character Wyatt, this was suppose to be a continuation of the Tessa series but I didn't find this book had much to do with her character. Hopefully that is picked up in future books.
