Someone recommend this book to me but it's a no from me. 12 pages in and it just doesn't seem like my style at all :/
I absolutely loved this book. The longing was everything.
Sadly I do think after the first half of the book, the main couple takes a bit of a side stage to the rest of the characters and while I liked those characters the main couple was just too amazing for me to not miss them.

So, I read the book. It provides great insight into the mind of abusers. It's extremely helpful to be able to spot the signs of abuse.
Yet when I looked up the author I sadly found that he believes trans women are in not women, believs they shouldn't be allowed space in women's sheltes. It's hard to believe someone who claims to truly care for women's well being when they will deny assistant to some of the most vulnerable. I cannot separate this book from it's author's bigotry against trans women.
