3.5 I really enjoyed this book. My complaint is that the ending left A LOT to be desired for me. There wasn’t enough explanation or closure. But, overall this was a really good book and the creep factor was definitely up there!
I initially gave this book 4 stars, but I haven’t stopped thinking about it in almost two years, so I think that’s worthy of a 5 star rating.
Wow. Just wow. This is my first Toni Morrison novel and this is the most beautiful writing I’ve ever read. This story was utterly heartbreaking, but the beautiful way in which it was told made me have to keep reading. I’m looking forward to reading more of the amazing writing style of Toni Morrison.
