It all started with a NYE meet-cute that seemed like it was love at first sight…….or at least until Jules sees something that makes her rethink her original thoughts on Nate. 

Now, a year later, Jules’ dance studio floods when a pipe bursts and her best friend suggests that she stay at her brother’s, Nate, cottage until it’s fixed. Only she doesn’t realize that her best friend’s brother is *the* Nate that she still doesn’t feel like she was able to fully move on from last NYE.

The slow burn is SO SLOW and so angsty but holy COW it is so worth it. Being able to see the build up of their relationship through the flashback in part 1 to work their story to where they are at the end of book 3 could PROBABLY be categorized as some form of torture because you ~know~ what’s coming, but somehow seeing him slowly open up and break down his walls for her makes all of the tears worth it. 

I just don’t want to admit that this series is over 😭

Fake engaged?! Roommates?! With benefits?! Truly, say no more.

Jax finds herself in a sticky situation when she’s downtown in DC and begins to have an IBS flare up, causing her to be in a desperate dash to find access to a restroom. She happens to run into Preston, and not only is he able to help her find her a restroom, but he also surprises them both when he introduces Jax to his boss (who happens to be a senator!!) as his fiancée.

Jax now has to decide if she’s able to keep up the fake fiancée façade as they choose to move in to Preston’s apartment together, meet each others families, and even begin working together for the same senator, or if it’ll all become too much.

Truly, I have no words.  This trilogy was so beautifully written and so beautifully broken and twisted at the same time. This is book 3 of the frozen fate trilogy and these all MUST be read in order!

I so desperately do not want to spoil anything for anyone who may want to read this series so I’ll just say this: you’ll truly go through the most wild ride, and just know that Pam truly does not disappoint.  Every single bit is absolutely worth it. The twists are so dark and unexpected and deep weaving that you’ll be so unbelievably shocked every time you think you have the story figured out.  

The slow burn tension of this was just *chefs kiss*

Thea has had such a hard and difficult life and has issues trusting people and letting her guards down, but luckily for her, Shep is very persistent.  Shep would truly go to the ends of the earth to be able to help Thea (both with her leaky bathroom and ber personal life), which is exactly what he does.  Once he realizes truly what her ex-boyfriend puts her through, all of his bets are off and he gets all of his siblings and friends involved to help keep her safe. 

Only, one of the real dangers is right in front of them and they don’t even notice it until it’s too late. 

When I say this book had me so invested with the twists and turns, I truly mean it! Every time I thought that I had it figured out, catherine threw me through another loop and I was wrong! 

I truly cannot believe that this is Ronnie’s debut novel! 

Jo and Patrick are childhood friends who grew up together and their parents even open a restaurant together. After two back to back unexpected tragedies, Jo ends up moving away.  At least until six years later when her dad calls asking for her help to try and save the families restaurant. 

Now when she comes home, she’s met with the news that Patrick is a single dad to four year old, Lottie, and they have to figure out how to work together and work through their pasts. 

Hannah, first of all, please expect a bill from my therapist. 

The dual POV timeline was so heartbreakingly beautiful to watch the two stories intertwine.  It allowed us to see the world through both Delilah and her father, Henry’s eyes. 

Delilah gets a phone call from her father that he’s sick with dementia and she decides to go to his house to help take care of him and be there for him. She soon realizes that her childhood love, truett, has been there helping take care of her father in her absence.  

Even when you think you know the whole story or what’s coming next, there’s another layer that weaves it even deeper and tugs at your heart strings more. No words can truly explain how wonderfully beautiful their stories are.
