Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review. These poems were such a unique look and take on disability and chronic pain. Kala definitely has a way with words and a unique voice. While this collection may be tough to read for some (for content reasons) it’s definitely beautifully written.

Of course I fell in love with a strange Italian man who murders people for a living. Katrina girl...you know my type huh?
