No chemistry between the characters and I can’t bring myself to care enough about them to see what happens. Whole lotta telling, not a lot of action

The book starts out fine. I really enjoyed books one and two so I had high hopes for this one. I understand that a lot of this book focused on Pip dealing with trauma and it couldn’t be sunshine and roses, but as soon as I hit the 50% mark the book took a turn that did NOT make sense or sit right with me. Trauma changes you but for that big twist to happen and know it would be the focus of the rest of the book, I just can’t. I actually asked someone to spoil it for new and after the sting that the rest of the book holds, I made the right decision.

DNF @27%. This just isn’t for me. Listen, I love an asshole MC and I know this is a dark romance but, there is literally thing attractive about how Cristian is treating Natalia so I’ll pass.

I just could not get into it. Between her mom pretending to be her on a dating app, her agreeing to participate in that and then her getting into an accident with the guy who tried to assault her and then her being scared cause she “murdered him”? I wasn’t feeling it. Baby girl why didn’t you just drive to the hospital???? Maybe I’ll try again another time

Not my cup of tea. Between the dialogue, which didn’t match the characters, and the writing I just couldn’t do it.

I couldn’t get into the writing of the book.

Only made it a few pages. After re-reading the synopsis and start the prologue, I don’t think I’m interested in reading this one anymore.
