I was going to rate this one star, but I took off 0.25 for the ending. Although the writing style was good, I disliked the main character too much for me to like this book. She was vain, apathetic to her life, and rude to her only friend even though she was going through a difficult moment in her life. I didn't understand why she kept giving random reminders about how pretty she was or how she looked like various blonde models/actresses, even at her worst. 
Although her friend was a little annoying she could've had some empathy towards her. It could be reasoned with the fact that she's supposed to have this ennui for life and maybe even her upbringing with her parents, but I couldn't get over the fact that, to put it simply, the plot was about a pretentious white girl who knew she was privileged and didn't care, was bored with life and had a weird and toxic relationship with her friend as well as her on and off boyfriend. 
The only reason why I didn't DNF this book is because there are few chapters so I just decided to finish it, but throughout I kept thinking there are many more books with MCs that are more relatable and more digestible. 

I found it cute at the beginning, but Cal seemed to be too oushy towards Leon's thoughts about his future, which was not resolved throughout the book. Also I was not convinced about Leon's feelings towards Cal, and his meaning to the plot in general. I just found him sort of unnecessary? The plot was also a little confusing, definitely not something I'd read again. 

It's a cute little read, with well written characters despite the amount of pages.
