I finished American Royals and it was brilliant, had the right amount of drama in the romance and plot aspects. Each perspective was captivating to read, and it’s intriguing to see the difference in America being a monarchy than a democracy, there’s so much more worldbuilding. I’m super excited for the second one 😊

reread and the angst is still as good and tender as the first time 

I think it would’ve been better if the romance was left out, it didn’t feel that real for either of the love interests, and their bond was more told than shown.

This book had everything: immersive and amazing illustrations, a beautiful love story, a found family with a few rough edges and a intricate world you can easily get lost in. I was a hundred fifty-ish pages in and I already wished I didn’t borrow this from the library but bought it. I would definitely read this again and again.
