they definitely upped the political intrigue in this book, which i loved, and wow i did not see that ending. jude i’ll be praying for you

the girls were too petty and over a man who is very clearly a red flag? no thanks. 

i was laughing from the get go; i loved the witty banter between the two mcs, and the delightful cast of characters. would definitely recommend for a lovely historical romance.

unflinching in its vulnerability, this memoir delves deep into trauma and finding the strength to heal and move on from those who are meant to love us. 

jude is a better person than me because taryn would not be seeing the light of day after what she did. she’s my girl but she honestly stresses me out 

wow. um. i liked this book more than i thought i would.

if you go into it with zero expectations, it’s a pretty decent romance. the two leads have chemistry, and i love a man down bad for the fmc, although i didn’t quite like how we were supposed to forgive a few acts of misogyny because of a repressed crush. despite the romance, there was a bunch of science and talks on the  accessibility of science to bipoc and women, which i loved. a read i actually enjoyed and finished surprisingly quickly. 

sweet, funny and profound with open talks about sexual heath and positivity for teens. i enjoyed this more than i thought.

two mcs with natural and warm chemistry that had me smiling to myself many times. one of the healthiest couples i've read for a while.

i can definitely see the comparison to bridgerton, but overall it was a cute book. they got back together quicker than i thought though.
