Loved this indie novel. It was a great mystery thriller set along the Georgia coast involving a serial killer. You can tell the author really did her research and enjoys the area. 

This was fascinating! I chose to read this book before any Stephen King novels and it gave such great background information. It didn't give spoilers or tried to avoid them. For quite a few, I knew the premise due to having seen the movie. These women did great research and included a lot of fascinating information about the novels and how they came about. Also about how they relate to things today. 

Not my favorite mystery. It's okay. A little on the slow side. 

I read this so fast. Mountains, caves, mystery, and more are all in this horror book. It was about 4 friends hiking and attempting to explore caves even after being told not to. They constantly are hearing what sounds like Whispers and want to find the source. I enjoyed it and thought it was a great read. 

Not my normal read. It was interesting and unique. Felt like you were reading a story within a story. 

Very interesting and informative book on the Navajo Code Talkers. Has great information about WW2 as well. I learned so much that I never knew from school. 

This was such a great historical fiction novel that depicted a hard time in American history. It truly revolves around a photo and a journalist. The photo he takes not only impacts him but also others including those in the picture. It's a well told story that takes place during the depression times. What would one do when pushed to the limits? 

The atrocities humans do. What these boys went through was horrendous. You just can't even fathom the pain...mental, emotional,  and physical. And how long lasting it must be.
