You just have to love Millie. And she can't help trying to assist a damsel. That's the best way to describe this book. However nothing is as it seems. It's a great and fast read!

This was a creepy good novel. I enjoyed the cave and snake/worm aspect. It made for an interesting read. The characters were a real ragtag bunch of men who had to work together and it was such an interesting story.

What a ride these two have. Penelope and Carter are childhood friends that bloom into more as adults. However, Pep is recovering from a trauma that is hard for her to acknowledge. Thrust together in a classroom and building a relationship across a street you fall in love with them and their love story.

This was a slow book for me. It didn't pick up until the last 30%. That's when it got better. Honey is a unique character being 82 and coming back to her hometown. She's also very ballsy. You kind of grow to love her.
