I loved the formate of this story. I was equally invested in both sides of the story. I think i enjoyed this story so much because of how I read it, one chapter from each side. I really loved the whole cast of characters and hope in the next book (final book) we delve into the main characters as tad more. I loved the world building in this novel and also how it was so hard to predict the twists. It was a very fast pace story but so heartbreaking at points. I hope to read book 2 soon. It was the first lauren silver book that made me want to come back to the world and i hope to try out more of her other books in the future.

This was such a fascinating and also very unique read. I loved the focus on both travel and dance. I loved how it really followed this young ladies life throughout so many different locations. I loved simply seeing her path through this story and all the types of arts things she was involved in throughout her life. It is the prefect novel for somebody who either loves the arts or also loves to travel. You learned so most about history in these time periods. It was such a quick read and I loved all the photos that was included!

I really loved alex first adventure into middle grade. I loved the world and how creepy it was. I really loved the world building and the elements of witch craft and the time and place of this novel. I thought the lead male was so well crafted and he had me on his side from page one. The story had so many twists and turns and I was shocked when it ended. It such a fun/creeepy read and can't wait to re-read/ eventually read the last book in the series next year

I really loved the second book in this series. I wish i had re-read book one and def re-read book one and two before three. I loved the wild ride in this story and the paths of all the leads. I loved also how the sister realtionships developed because that is the one part of book one that I wanted so more of and this book gave me that. I also loved how much we learned about Jules and she def became one of my favorite character. This book is wild ride with so many unexpected twists and turns. I will def re-listen to this book. Any major problems I had with this book was because I did not read book 1 directly before and that lead to some confusion on my end. But if you liked book one, you will adore book 1. I still don't know what queen i am rooting for but i am excited to see what comes next.

* I got this book at ALA*
This was was a fun creepy and horror novel. I did love the characters the we met and also the lead character experience was a fun. I also love who the author explored all the murder victims and really gave the audience so much information about them. It was a very bloody and gory book. I just wanted the killer was shown really early but I found that dynamic was unique and I am just not sure how I feel about it. I loved the diversity of this book. It was super fast read. I just wanted a bit more out of the mystery in this story. But it was fun, creepy read prefect for the fall season!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the strong female character at the heart of it. I also loved how jam packed with historical stuff this story was. It was a very fun and unpredictable story. I did not love the pacing and had so issues staying engaged at points. I also loved short the chapters were and loved how much of quick read it was. I look foward to checking out book two in the future.

I really loved this book so much. I was captured from page one. I loved the duel time lines we got also the presence of both dragons in this society. This book was so hard to predict and I had a hard time putting it down. I loved all the characters that we meet and was so invested in both dragons and the humans. I was so fascinated by the political stuff and loved what we learned about the lead girl it went in a very different direction then I predicted and Now i need book 2! If you like fantasy books, I would rec. this book for you.
