This book was a bit of a struggle for me. I had this book on my tbr for so long and just feel like i was not the moment to read this book. I also think this book was very much a set up for the rest of the serie and the two main charactrs i did not feel that connected to them. I have heard such good things about the later book in this series and want to try to read this book closer together in the next year!!

I think the design and pictures in this book is just stunning. This book also was just super compeling. I loved how the consequnces of book 1 and the assult that occured kept hacing consquences as the sereies went one. It was very quick read and i am just really fond of the characters and excited to to be caught up on this series!!

I think this was a fun end to the series. I also think this story really focused on the battle/war side in the story and look at the impact a war can have on the actual people and children of the socirty. I also enjoyed how we got some answers that i have wanted and also saw all the chararacters together. It was a quick read and the world building and the characters were the standout for sure!!

This book was just so cute and for that i a giving it four stars. It was just a sweet read and one that was cozy read. I think that was mix of both the characters and also the winter setting. It also did dea with much deeper topics like "conset" and friendship but it also focused so heavily on found family elements and gave me massive winter vibes!! Such a great weekend on a cold day!!

I thought this book really struggled with with audience and who they were telling this story too!! I have the same sisue i have with most nacy drew reads, the characters felt like a 2d and did not have enough dept. I thought this mystery was fun and might check out the audibooks for future series, but it did not woe me a middle grade read. It felt like adult story and it just lacked a true audiecne and that lowered my rating a tad!!

Again i think this book just struggled to find it audience and just did not wow me!!!

I really loved this story so much. It was such a fun holiday read. I also loved how NYC became a character in this story as well. I loved all the characters in the story and also unlike most middle grade the parents had an active role in this story. I loved both the mystery but also the holiday fun that occurred in this novel. I grew so attached to this characters and was happy to hear a sequel is coming. I thought this was prefect holiday read and made me smile and cry for the holidays!

This was a great read and i felt like it was spoild retelling but with a twsit. I really loved the main character in this read and the friendshipa at the heart of this read. This story while being a mysyery did tackle many harder issues like grief and immigration. I also thoight the the mystery was hard to solve. I don't thinkt the wrtiing was a clear as captivating as a read but it was quick read and woud check out more books in the future

This was a cute read and a differrent take on a small town mysyery. It had a male lead and I nevcer read books with that but it was really quick read. I loved the small town elements and again it was mystery that i had a hard time predicting!! I will def read more by this author in the future
