I have never read the lumber janes comics but I really enjoyed this novelization. I felt like there was enough backstory that made this story easy to follow. I loved all the various girls that became the focus of this story. I loved how this book really was so well crafted with both contemporary elements and also fantasy elements as well. I really loved the relationship between all the girls and also the mystery and adventure that they went through in this novel. I felt like it also not only was super fun but also taught the young readers various things. I will def be checking out book two in this novelization when it comes out.

I really did enjoy this read. But it was def not my favorite read of this series. I really did like how the characters dealt with the drama in the previous book. I loved being back at the new setting in this book and the older characters that we met up with. I felt that the pacing in this book was not as tight and hard to feel invested to keep reading. I still love apollo character and really loved his character growth. I felt the pacing was just not as strong and wanted it from this book. I am really excited to read the possible last book in this series late next year.

*I got this book for review from the publisher*

I thought this book was such a fun and fast pace adventure story. This book has percy jackson vibes that i actually really wound up enjoying. I really did like the world building as well and liked how "sleepwalking" was given elements of powers. I also thought this book tackled issues that so often come up in middle school like friendship and bullying. I though the end was a tad rushed, but I really hope we get more books in this series in the future.

Overal I liked this book. I really liked how this book focused on witches and witch powers. I liked the characters but did not love them. I also felt a bit disconnected from them. I overall liked the pace and the plot and really liked how this book would be a good book to read in the fall because its had a light ereiry hint. I also really liked the house and the set of this story. I would def check out more reads by the author in the future.

I thought this was adorable read. I loved that it was tied to the tokyo olympics. I also really enjoyed the game element that was featured. I also thought this book would be prefect for younger readers. I also really enjoyed how the book focused on friendship, brother and sisters realtionships and also loved how it explored the city of toyko. I loved how the mystery was connected to the games and found it super cute. I would def read more of this series in the future. Def a fun read and if you have kids that love games or the games in general, def a solid read.

I also really loved this read. I felt like this book had a nice balance of the black panther myth but also was a story that could have happened to black panther in his younger years. I also liked this book was set in alabama and loved how that tied into all the stuff happening currently like black lives matter and other modern day elements. I also loved the trio of characters as the main focus. It was super quick read and just made me smile at the end. I def want to read more by this series in the future. It is a part of series, but you can read them out of order, i felt like this book did a good job of recapping the previous book!

I thought this was a super cute read. It made me smile, I also really enjoyed that it had lead character had a disaiblity and i have never seen that in fantsay novel. I think this book was really fun read. It def did have elements of a alien storyline and the plot based arounfd that. But it also focused alot on the challenges and issues that come with being a foster kid. I also really loved the realtionship that developed between the brothers in this read. I also really enjoy the multi media elements throuhgout this read. This book also had a nice mix of aventure moments and also hard hiting moments. If you enjoyed the book one of the murphys or other books tackling the foster care system like the fosters, def check out this read!
