I rarely read standalone, but overall this was such a great novel. I loved how much this story was told. I loved how alex transformed the greek world and made it mix between percy jackson and hunger games in some way. I also loved how she featured some of my favorite elements like a boy best friend, NYC as a backdrop, blast from the past romance, and found family. I really loved this world and these characters and the Villian and how this book ended was awesome. I really loved this read.

I really wound up adoring this book. I loved how this book combined all the pervious POV into one book. The best way i could describe the energy of this book was it reminded me so much of The marvel movie Civil war. I really felt for all the characters and was super invested in this story and read it so fast. I loved the developed of the beauty and the beast myth. I really loved all the characters and loved the represention that we got. I am totally hoping we get more book in this series cause I would love too see these characters again. But i am felt like it completed the story also super well. Def a fav series for me to date.

I really loved this book. I thought it was a prefect second book in this small series. i really loved how this book focused on the end of school but also the challenged that come with that. I loved how this book still had the big family at the heart of it. I also loved Oliva as a character and loved how we also got some other character POV Throught it. I also really loved the romance at the heart of it. I will kill for more books featuring this family. Such a fun read!

I thought this book was really unique read. I think this book reminds me so much of a book like recovery road or the older t.v show higher ground. I LIKED how this book tackled so many issues that young people face today like drugs, alcohol cutting but also a massive focus on grief and PTSD. This book also focused on the lost of friendship and that really struck. me. I really did like the chapters the POV of the girls in this story. The mystery did not wow me, but I really enjoyed the read!

I really loved being back in this world again and seeing a story set after the events of book 3. I also really liked the plot of this read. I loved how the promise element was the the focus of the read. I also liked how this book focused on and and zuko relationships. It was a great read excited for the sequel.

I did like this book. I really liked how this book focused on high school sports and especially girls in sports and also girls in a "football" I also really did like all he side elements including friendship and the family elements. I was not super invested in the romance in the end and it seems a bit instalovely to me but I still liked the romance I just did not feel super connected to them! I will def read more boy this author in the future.

I struggled a little bit with this one. I really liked the main character and loved seeing the world again. I also liked that it tackled some topics that I have never read in fantsay book before like pregnancy and sex and the consequences. Those topics are not normally talked about. I also really liked the found family elements that developed. But i felt like the plot was not as captivating and sort of like graveling less captivating. I am still really excited for book 3. This book did not wow me!

I really loved seeing these characters again. I loved how this story developed and seeing ang and the gang again and loved seeing the plot the develop in the aftermath of the sho and how it explores the happy ever after elements but still keeps me super engaged. really happy for vol 3.

I really loved this follow up book to the first book in this series. I found this book tackled so many new issues and loved how it occurred. I really loved how this book explored and expanded on the found family elements but also added a quest element. I also really loved how this book tackled grief so effectively. It was light hearted read but with some emotional punches that really kicked me in the emotions. I really loved the romance and the book and felt it like it was not the main focused but love it. I feel like the end was so well crafted and really exited to read more by this author in the future.
