I really loved this sequel story. So many complication situations have occurred at the very end of this read. At the heart of this book is such a fun cast of characters and you just want to the best for them. Then the saving the world elements comes into place and it ups the drama and also the added hint of mystery. Some twists at the very end shocked me. I loved some of the reveals and really am excited for book 3 soon!

* I got this book for the review*

I thought this was such a unique science fiction novel. This is not a super heavy science fiction novel. I really liked the duel POV characters and really liked all the side characters. The whole concept about "goddess" was really different. I also really liked the world billing and found it to fast past read. The story did not have any shocking twists and I saw some of the larger ones coming. I found the end to be exciting and def checking out book 2!

I found this book to be an adorable read. I really loved how this book dived into the mystery element for a middle grade set. It reminded of the feel of like a sherlock holmes book but more hands on and effective for middle school kids. I also really liked the mystery at the heart of the story. I also really loved the time period as well, i wish it would have been clearer about what time period it was. Will def check out more books by this author in the future.

I overall liked this read. But it did not wow me. I know it was loosely inspired by the Othello myth. I really did like the theater elements of this book and how it focused on a theater world in general. As a theater teacher I appreciated it. The one element of this book I really struggled with was the focus on the relationships and becoming more like love triangle and I really struggled with that part of the book. I also liked the main character but did not love, but i also felt connected to her and being in her head was not always easy. Overall, It was a okay read but it did not wow me.

I really loved how this book wrapped up this series. I also liked how this book tackled the harder issues in this lighter fantsay read. I also do want to note this book did tackled some "pandemic" issues at the heart of this book. But i also really liked the adventure elements. I also really liked how this book had two POV as well. It also dived more into the LGBTQ elements and really liked seeing these characters again!

Again I have been listening to these books and this book was such a fun read featuring my favorite character. I also loved how things romance was different than all the others in the series. I also liked how this book also had a element of a widow romance and loved the kids as main characters. I also really liked seeing the whole Bridgerton family again. I also really liked how the "starting" chapter elements was different from previous books, but I still enjoyed it.

*I got this book for review from the publisher for my honest thoughts*

This was such a impactful and thoughtful read. I really loved how this book combined some of my favorite YA elements in one story but def also tackled some harder and more contempory issues like gun violence, issues that effect black communities and also gangs. I also really liked the focus on gods as well. I also liked the important discussions about race relationships in the new world. It was not easy read but really struck me in the emotions. I also thought that the romance in this book, was really fun but not the main focus. This book also did tackle grief and also strong siblings realionshps as as well. I will def check out book 2 and this author in general.
