I really wound up enjoying this fairytale retelling story that focused on sleeping beauty. i loved how this book focused on the nightmares and dreams of sleeping beauty. I also thought this book did such a good job creating these characters both aurora and philip as well rounded characters and that was so well done. I also really liked how this new story had both old elements that tied back to the old story but also new things as well that just expanded the world. I found the pacing in the start to be a bit off but i still really loved it.

I really wound up adoring this read. I love this book so much. I was so invested in both the male and female POV. I loved how this book focused on the comics world and beyond comics books and not just comic con. I also like how this book explored harder relationships topics including family dymamics, romance, codependent relationships and anxiety and depression. I thought this was realistic look at what comes after a whirlwind romance. but it was so fun and loved the characters and the harder topics.

I would give this book for review 3.75 stars.

I actually enjoyed this read. I really did like the whole twisty mystery that was at the heart of this year. I def was suprised by the end and did not see it coming at all. I did like how the end occurred but still thought it was a bit of a open ending. It was a book that kept me guessing. I sometimes had a hard time keeping the characters in my head straight and wish the voices were clearer or we had been in their heads at moments. I did like the switching between and past and found it to be a fun read!

Overall, I really loved the concept of this story following Jem throughout history and hunting for the child. I loved going throughout history and seeing all my favorite characters new and old. I really loved seeing so many fan favorites and found it to be so fun. I really do love Jem as a character and loved seeing all the different verisions of a shadow market as well. It was such a fun read and got my ready for chain of gold.

I wanted to adore this book and it just did not happen. I really oveall did enjoy the characters and found the world building to be so compelling but the pacing of this book just did not wow me and it was very slow and did not capture my attention as much as i wanted it to. I still am intrigued to see what happens next. I just struggled with the pacing overall. I also found the side characters to be be super fun. I will def keep reading it eventually.

I found this book to be such a refreshing WW2 read. I really was so invested in all the POV. This book is largely connected to other books and I would highly rec. you read these books in publication order for all the characters to make a even deeper impact. This book was a nice mix action and battles and war and also spycraft and missions. I thought the three POV were able to flesh out this world. I really enjoyed how this book tackled so many issues including sexism and prejudices. I also loved how this book focused on relationship between the young and old. I really am dying to tackle more reads by this author in the future.

This has been the first ever read in this genre that I read. I really loved this book. I thought this book was such a fun read. I loved not only the love to hate romance but also the setting that this place took place in. I also love the side characters that we meet and so excited to get them in future books. I really loved the main female character as well. I like how this book dealt with dealing with grief and other unique elements. This book was so sexy, but i loved it. I can't wait to read more in this series in the future.

I found this book to be such a gem. I loved how this book tackled a time period that i was unaware of. I like how this book focused on a quiet resistance and really found that to be charming and so much fun to read about. I also liked how the main character drew so dramatically from the start of this read. I also found this book to handle so many unique topics including book smuggling, found family and also so many interesting twists that caught me off guard. I really love how books became a character in this read and loved the focus on them as tool in this revolution. I thought this was clear standalone that def tugged at my heartstrings at the end. Will def read more by this author in the future.

I simply loved this book. Again this book tackled a time period that I was not the familar with. I thought this was such a good read that not only opened my mind about time period chernoable power plant explosion and follows two young girls who fathers were works at that power plant. I loved the duel POV and also the focus on friendship, predjuices, finding your own family and hints of adventure that keep you guessing, I love books that are focused on found family and this book really made me emotional and found it prefect listen!

I thought this book was fun read. This book reminded me so much of action adventure movie with a hint of science fiction twist. I really did like the main character in this read. I thought the plot was fun and I also like the fast pace nature of the book. The only downside to this read is a struggled to feel connected to any of the characters and had no real emotional attachment to any of them. I did like the setting a well and found it to be fun read but it did not wow me. If you like action adventure movies this might be a fun read for you.
