This was the second book that I read by this author duo. I really was found of the NYC broadway setting and as theater teacher many of the elements just felt so real to me about what would happen behind the scenes as a new broadway show. I did not feel as connected to these characters and part of the reason is because I did not feel as connected due to it not being duel POV. I was less impressed with the relationship especially with the "drama" that developed towards the end of the book. I also thought the end of the book was tad rushed. Overall the highlights of this book was the broadway setting and the middle part of the book. The low-lights was the structure of the book and also feeling connected to the characters!

I struggled to love this read. I felt the pacing was all off and the plot was not smooth and had a lot of pacing issues. I felt like there was no real conflict in the start of the book and it was hard to keep my attention. The elements of this book the baby-sitting, witches and friendship and family just did not mesh super well and I had a hard time feeling connected to the plot and characters. I think the world building in the book was weaker and just introduced too late to be engaging. I might read the sequel and hope the world building and the mystery elements are stronger.

I really loved this book! I thought this was a unique fantasy novel. I really adored both the characters and the world building. It was a well crafted mystery that really makes me want to re-read this novel. I think the world building was the stand out in this series and also the lead character of Jules. I really enjoyed this book so much. It was super fast past and kept me so engaged. I really want book two Now. It such a nail bitting read and I could not predict the mystery. I highly rec. this book if you are looking for unique fantasy novel!

I thought this was such a fun sequel in this series. I really did like the plot and where the story went in this book. I also really loved how this book was set in paris. I did vist there in the past and the descriptions were so real, like i was there. I think I still want a little bit more out of this world in general. But I thought the pacing of this book was super good. I also like the new group of characters we met and at the heart of this book is always the friendship between cassidy and jacob and some heartfelt moments occurred. I am so excited to read more in this series and find out the new setting!

I found this book to be the prefect witch graphic novel. I really did love the world building and the characters. I thought this book featured so much diversity in so many different aspects including deaf characters also LBGTQ characters. I found this art style to be so adorable and I flew through this read. I wanted a little bit more from the plot towards the end, but really did love this read and hope that we get to sequel soon!

I really loved how this was science fiction inspired thriller. I grew to love the main character throughout the novel. I really did like the world building and the the start of this read was super strong. I loved how memory was a major element in this story. I really did enjoy the romance and thought this book was such a solid stand alone. I thought the ending was a tad rushed at points but I would def. read more by this author in the future.

I wanted to rate this higher but non of the mysteries wowed me. I did like them but I did not love them. This book was def aged up in regards to both Nancy age but also technology. I found it hard to grow emotionally connected to anyone in the stories expect for the 3 leads. I did like that this story collection had a bit for a through line, stuff the connected all the stories together. I wish that was stronger. I also felt like story one was super predicable but I did like story two. I felt the romance in this books was not the "best" and that was major focus in all the stories for all the characters. But I did enjoy the collection overall. I did like the music mystery the best and I love the setting of the skiing one the best!

I don't normally feel pushed to read paranormal books but this book was nice suprise. I found this to be such a fun read. I was not the biggest fan of the twilight but found this to be such a cool read. I really loved the the girl was the "creature" and also really enjoyed the fact the we got both lead characters POV. I adored the setting in this book as well. I also loved the lore and the myth of this book. I thought the pacing of this book towards the middle and the end could have been a little bit stronger but I will def be checking out the others books in the series.

I did listen to this book Via audibook and overall I really did enjoy this read. It was not my favorite book. I really did enjoy the world building as well. I also thought the overall plot was super complying and really did like the large cast of characters that we were introduce to. The war settings was very cool to read about. I think this book was fast pace adventure and handled so many hard topics that was done so well. I really did grow to like the romance as well. I would def read more by this author in the future.

I really enjoyed this read. I thought it was a had such a fun setting and also such a fun cast of characters. I don't normally love books about zombies but this book so refreshing and just a fun fast pace read. I really did enjoy the main characters in this book a lot. I found them both to be super compelling. I thought the characters voices could have been clearer because I sometimes struggled to remember who's head I was in and would have liked something like chapter heading to make it more obvious. I rather enjoy this read and thought it was such a solid standalone read, that impressed me. I will def read more by this author in the future.
