I thought this was such a solid standalone novel to the first book in this series the start of me and you. I loved how this book was again set along almost a whole year of their life and took place directly after book 1. I hoped this book would have took us to the the end of summer but it only went to spring break. I am secretly hoping we get a third book to complete this series. I really loved the main characters in this book and the topics that were discussed. I loved the pace of this novel and really flew through it. I did not love the opening ending, but I am hoping we get a concluding novel. I really did loved the dynamics of this characters in this novel and how they changed from the start of this series. It was a great read!

I read this book in a day. I really thought this was such a fun summer themed read. I read the next book by this author and felt that this book was also super strong. I liked that this book focused so much on self discovery. I really also enjoyed how clara changed so much throughout this novel. This book had a lot of mini plots travel, job, competition and they did not all mesh together super well to make a strong clear novel. I felt like some parts were quickly tied up and I wanted the last 50 pages to be bit longer and sreached out. I really did enjoy the characters in this book thought and would read more by this author in the future.

I found this book to be such a fun read. I really need to go back and read the previous books in this series. I would say this book could be read as a standalone but you could also read them in order. I really loved the holiday setting of this book and think it make a quick read during christmas. I thought the plot at points was a bit choppy and not as clear but I overall flew through this book. I really did like main characters of this read and def want to read their other adventures soon. I really liked how this book dealt with the present and the past and also loved the dymanics between the siblings.

I overall really enjoyed this book. This book had was really focused on diversity and overall i really enjoyed both the world building and the characters. I felt that because we got so many different POV there was so POV that I was more invested in like rachel and Nick and michel and astride. I thought the end of the book was a tad predicable but I will def be checking out more books in this series soon!

I found this to such a fast pace read. I really enjoyed the wide cast of characters and also the setting the the mystery that was at the heart of this novel. I really think that the finished copy of this book will have such a fun and easy to read/ and love art style. I think the plot had some pacing issues, but I am hopeful the future books in this series will get stronger and stronger. I think if your enjoy fast pace adventure stories, this would be the prefect read for you!

I really loved re-reading this book. I forgot how strong this book was. I loved this story so much and how it took nods from the old tale but made it so unique and so different. I really loved this world and Marrissa was able to craft such a unique world. It was such a fast pace read. I was just so invested in this stories and the all the characters. I loved this story so much and felt like it was a solid story and so excited to dive back into more books in this series.

I will admit I really did enjoy both the characters in this read and also the suble science fiction twist in this novel. I really did like the diversity of the POV and also how the characters. I thought this book also dealt with harder topics that are so common in the world but rarely seen and loved how this book handled belief and what to believe and found it to be so intreasting. I wish the book had a more clear ending, But if you enjoy books with a open ending this might be the book for you. I also wish all there POV tied in a bit more. I did also like that these characters came from not only some many different backgrounds but also places. Fans of we all look up, should check out this read.

I will admit I have waited for a long time for this read. I was lucky enough to get arc of wicked king last year so It has been adventure waiting. I really did enjoy this book. I thought this book had a nice balance of plot/character stuff and also fan service balance. I really enjoyed how tightly wound this story was. I thought the pacing was hard to put down and the characters i still really did enjoy. As for the plot and more so the Villain, I just felt the stakes were higher in other books in this series. It wanted more from the villain. I really did loved all the twists and turns in this read, and overall was impressed with the end, I just wanted higher stakes like in the previous books in this series.

Overall, I found this to be such a interesting read. I really liked how this story not only told the women role in disney but also just the general story of disney as a company. I really loved meeting all of these women who crafted some of my favorite movies of all time. It liked how this book focused on several women but also gave you details about so many more women who we never knew. I thought this book also pulled so many elements from history as well that connected back to diseny as well. I wish the second half of the book was just as detailed as the first half and wish we got more information about the later movies. I would def check out more reads by this author in the future.

I found this read to be a rather fun read. I enjoyed how "fandom" heavy this book was. I really did like the love intreats in this book. I wish this book had also had duel POV and flew through this read. I like sally as a main character and really enjoyed the fake dating group and best friends to maybe something more themes. I really loved the soccor elements as well. I would read more by this author in the future.
