I thought this was such a solid conclusion to this series. I love how Wendy crafts these worlds and this once took the characters to OZ. I just really enjoyed how the turned the myth on it head. This story also pay off all the precious characters arcs and it was such a fast pace read. This book we get to finally get inside Doc head and I loved that so much! I wanted more information on some of the deaths that occurred off screen but it was such a good back and can't wait to see what this author writes next!

I thought this was a great follow up to the first book in this series. I loved the adventure in this story and also how the storyline expanded the world. I just found this to a fast pace adventure story and think younger readers will fly throughout. I think the many illustrations will also increase the joy for this series. I really loved the dynamic between the professor and the kids in this novel. I really want to keep on reading this series. It was a def a super fun adventure series with some history tossed in!

I really adored this sequel to Warcross. I loved how it expanded the world and also really made the mystery and the drama in book one even more complex. It was super fast pace read. I loved the balance between older characters in book one and the newer characters we meet in book 2. It was a good balance. It was a super fast read. I just loved how well marie lu created this world so diverse and and did it in such semless way and it made the world seem so "real" to me. I loved all the game play we got as well in this novel. I would def. be interested in seeing more books in this world because this world was so much fun to read about!

I thought this was the prefect summer read. I reminded me a lot of the princess daries and I really loved the world that was created and also the new boy we met. I also loved the side characters. I just wish I felt more connected to the characters overall. It was such a fun read and i def really loved Miles a lot. I also loved the use of newspaper articles that was used to accent the novel. I will def be checking out book 2!

This book was such a nailbiter in regards to the thriller. I also loved the writing partnership between Clinton and Paterson! I thought the book was so politically on point but also such a fascinating mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat. I thought some of the political details went over my head but I enjoyed the various POV characters we met and the VIP of the book was the secret service agents and they really were highlight of the book. I def enjoyed this read!

I was immediately captured by this novel. It starts off as pretty simple story but it the way this story unfolds is really so well crafted. I loved the duel time lines of the story we get exposed to and the hints and nods to both the fairy tale the little mermaid and all the characters we meet in that story. I loved the lead Evie and found her path in this story to be so compelling. I thought the world building magic system had me so engaged. I really flew through this book and it makes such a prefect summer read. I would love to read more fairy tale retelling from this author in the future!

I really enjoyed this book alot. I thought it was the prefect way to dive back into this world and give us a whole new story but still respect the other series and give nods to it. I just love the lead character so much and getting inside her head was such a fun experience. I loved the mixed cast of old characters and new and how they all balanced each other out. I thought the book was a fast pace adventure but such a solid mystery. I flew through his book and really hope we get future stories in this world because i just want to see more from these characters and this world.

I really adored this read so much. I thought the art style and story was so well done. I loved the fun story but also the focus on science and using science for "harm" and "help". I think the adorable cat in this will keep readers old and young alike turning the page. I loved the various storylines we got in this rather short lead and also loved the role of the parents in this book. I thought the book was so well crafted and def left me with a smile on my face! I think younger readers will be rooting for the young leads and anxious to read the end of this tale!

i enjoyed the second story in this series. I love the focus on leo cause he is my favorite character. it was a fun story but also super heartfelt. I really did miss camp half blood at points but i really did love the story and can't wait for the next one. I also really enjoyed how rick used the new myths into this story. I also really loved Apllo growth in this book and really how each peers are chaining his view on this world! I really can't wait to see what characters appear as cameo next!

This was a great book to kick off my summer reads season. I really loved how this book was focused on both grief but also science and experiments with love twist. I really found the self discovery path in this story to be super strong. I also really realated to the female/male friendship dynamics because that was something that defined my high school experience. I also liked how this book tackled grief but in a unique way. I flew through this book and really think that was because the structure of this book made the pacing of this book super well crafted. I also really loved all the side characters and the lead boy made me smile. I would def read more by this author in the future.
