I listened to this audiobook and found it to be adorable. I really loved the adventure aspects and just how fun and fast pace this story was. I loved it so much. I read it so fast and just loved the characters a lot. I think younger kids will adore this book, because the kids really were the heroes in this story. I enjoyed how this book did tackle some history elements in the story telling. I def will be getting the sequel to read. This is great starter series for younger readers or even a great read aloud book as well.
I really adored this series so much. I loved how this series tied everything together but with Rick humor and myths It was such a fun read. I thought this book really solidified my one of my favorite book themes including found family. I just really adored this cast of characters so much and how diverse it became. I loved how the romantic entanglements occurred in this novel AND I really just love Magnus Humor. I also grew to enjoy the various members on his quests. I felt like we really got learn more about these characters that we spent two books with. I adored the connection back to the greek and roman world and PERCY cameo made my life! I def really enjoyed this series and just want more set in this world!

I really enjoyed this sequel. The highlight of this book series is the amazing world building and the magic world that is developed. I loved all the small nods to knew creatures and also the "case" of mystery that was the heart of this book. I loved the LGTBTQ representation in this story and also the development of all the characters. Amber was dealing with a lot of love related issues in this book, normally struggle with them but this book was just a fun read. The world is so well crafted and I really can't wait for book 3! It was a such a great sequel! The highlight of this book was def. the world building and also the mermaid mystery!

This book was such a fun read. I really loved the story and also the illustrations. It was such a fun adventure story that I think kids would really enjoy as either reading them on their own or as read aloud. I thought the illustrations were so fun and I was super engaged in the story and read it so fast. I would be a great summer or early fall read. I also the caper in this story and really thought it was charming read! I def. hope we get more adventures in the future!

I really did enjoy this book. I really did like the lead character and also the world building was so fun to explore this world. I just thought the pacing could have been stronger at points and also some of the "court intrigue" stuff I felt was abandoned in the middle of the novel. I really did love the prince in this story and hope in future books we see the story though his eyes. I liked how a unexpected trio developed towards the end of the book and also the dynamics between all the characters was super fun. I def need book 2 after that ending.

THIS book was a monster to finish listening too... but I am so happy I finally finished it. I def thought listening for the first time to this book could have been a better experience if i just read it. but i really enjoyed the storyline. I liked the pay off emma and jules character and also where their characters went. I also loved all the new characters we met and love how mark tied into the story. I really loved the mystery that need to be solve. I also thought this book unlike heavenly fire, relied a lot less on Clary and that crew only in very key moments. I would have liked a few more tie backs but this book was so well crafted. Def need to read the next book soon!
I really enjoyed this book a lot. It focuses so much on friendship as most of Emma books does. I also enjoyed Solane character. She is very much a outsider trying to find her place in a new group of friends. I also like the arts connection that was threaded throughout this novel and also how the fandom elements were used in this novel. I also just loved the group of friends sloane fell into. It was a prefect summer read even thought it is technically set in the winter. I also loved the light mystery that was threaded in this novel. I found this to be a fast pace read as well!
I really gave this book 4.5 stars*
I really enjoyed the premise and this book a lot. I went to a mostly all girl school and the dynamics in this book reminded me of all female college. I also went to this school as it was going to coed and the male presence def rang true for me. I just loved the use of past and present to tell the story. I loved the focus on female friendship and the focus on the job. I did like the romance but it was def not the focus of the book. I found it to be a super fun read, and reminded me so much of college days. The book had some predictable moments but i still read it so fast!

I really loved this middle grade adventure story. I liked how this standalone was so well crafted and such a fast pace read. It had the right balance between adventure, scares and friendship. I normally love books with a trio of characters and this book was no different. This book was def scary at points but very good for middle grade kids. I think this would make a great fall or October read. It also harder issues like grief, death and bullying in a very easy to understand way.

I really enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed all the books set in the Matson world. I really loved not only the formate of this book but also the entire family and the various situations that occurred. I loved the relationship between bill and charlie and just wish we saw a bit more of it throughout the novel. I just love all the high jinx that came from the wedding and all the problems that need to be solved. I thought it also tackled harder issues super well. I really loved the tie backs to her other novels. And it was a prefect summer read!
