I really enjoyed this book. I think the characters and their dynamics were some of the highlights of this story for me. It reminded me alot of firefly and legends of tomorrow. I loved how it was a self contained story but I still want to see these characters again cause they were so much fun to read but I loved a self contained story. I would have loved to see more heist elements in the story but I thought it was a very fun read and again handled time traveling in a easy to understand way. I hope to read more by this author soon!

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a strong follow up to the first book in the series. I grew to love the main romance in this series and did not want to put down the book. I felt like the world building about the sirens could have a been stronger and clearer at points. But it such a fun read and I really enjoyed not only the main character but the plot of the novel. If you enjoyed the kick but female power of the first book, I think you will love this book. I also enjoyed how the story was tied up and all my questions were answered. I will def check out more by this author in the future!

This was such a fun read. I loved the main character so much. I really was captured from page one. I really loved the dynamics of the cast and also how it dealt with historical based issues like gay relations, female roles and race relations. It also was such a fun adventure story. It was such a quick pace read for being such a long novel. I really grew to love all the characters and I am so excited to see what she does in the sequel. This was book was a prefect mental break.

I loved this series so much. I loved not only the premise but also all the POV characters we got to explore. I also really enjoyed how diverse this book was and how it took so many unexpected twists. I still have some tears about some unexpected SAD Twists. But i ams so happy I listened and excited to start season 2

*I give this book 4.5 stars*

I loved everything about this book. I loved the characters all of them captured my heart from page one. I love ruby as a lead. I also really loved how the world was build and crafted. The world in my head was so visually cool. I really was carptured by both this world and these characters. I will be honest reading the summary for this book made me drag. I was spoiled on plot elements that did not happen until part 2 of the book and that made me story drag. I loved where i was in the story but knew it was going to change and that made the story drag.
I am still so excited for book 2!

I thought this book was very good. I thought it was a very strong mix between the cinder series and ember in the ashes. I really enjoyed not only the lead characters but also the plot. I thought the world building was done so well and It was easy to become invested in these characters. I enjoyed how this story avoided the insta love issue and made for interesting story. I did think the book had slow moments but overall I was captured from page one. I am very invested in where this series goes in book two!

I loved this book so much! I think it is def. my favorite maze runner book as well. I loved seeing how thomas and his friends backstory and also how they go to the moment in the the start of the maze runner series. So many little things we learned and It made me love these characters even more. It was a wonderful end to this series and I am so happy I finally read it. I felt like this book was the prequel that I wanted and I still love thomas as hero!

This was a great book. I loved everything about this book. I loved the references to her first book and it just was a fast pace read that really focused on self discovery and family. The romance was sweet and and the family based mystery made this such a good book to read as well. If you love the night we said yes check out this book as well.

I thought this was a much darker fariy novel. I did like the characters and the world building but the conflict could have been stronger at points and the plot did drag. I really did love the myth she created in this book and the darker story that we got. The thing that stood out to me was the world building and the characters. I feel like the plot was unbalanced at points and slow burn but I am glad I read it. I am excited to see what ties it has to her cruel prince series!

*I got this as an e arc from the publisher*
I thought this was adorable holiday romance. I really thought it was quick read and I really loved the structure of the book. I thought the characters were compelling and I loved all the various POV we got but I would have liked more from the characters we saw in one chapter. I am also a sucker for accomplishing a mission books in YA novels. It was super fun read and I read it so fast. I thought that characters were relatable and it did address harder issues but the issues addressed could have been clearer. I also wanted a stronger ending and one that gave me closure! But I would def read this this holiday season when it comes out in Jan!
