I really enjoyed this story. It was the prefect fall read. I fell in love with the both these main characters. I just was so captured by not only the characters but also the mystery. I loved how Kerri told the story and also how it was still in lines with the real murders but she also made it more streamlined and interesting story. I was also love the photo accents in the story because it made the atmosphere of the story even more creepy. I was totally wrong about who was Jack and that was perfectly fine. I enjoy this story a lot and want to read book 2 soon!

I did enjoy this book. I am also sucked in by mystery and also going back to one's past and dealing not only with the mystery but also their own past. I thought the pacing was a tad clunky at points. But I was super invested in the mystery and the main character grew on me. It was very hard for me not picture krysten ritter in this role but that also increased the love of this novel. I thought the novel was fast pace mystery. I will admit I did not love the lead from page one but she grew on me. If you are unsure maybe rented it from your lib. But I did enjoy the read and seeing what story she would tell me!

I really enjoyed this book. This is def. middle grade book but I so loved the main characters in this story. It had so many unexpected twist and turns but I ended this book with a smile on my face. I loved the adventure and how much it was such a fast pace story. I would def read more books int his series. It reminds me a lot of the series I read many years ago. I do rec. if you like books like a school for good and evil!

I loved the writing of this book. It was so lovely and it captured me from page one. It is very detailed thought and at points i got lost in the details. I thought the world building was crafted so well and I could not see the twists and turns in the story coming. I felt like the pacing was much slower then I wanted it to be but the characters kept me engaged and overall i really enjoyed it. I hope to read more by this author soon!

I really enjoyed this book. I found it very cute. I thought for a middle grade book it was very well done and did not have over dramatic characters. I really loved the premise and the characters. It was a tad predicable but a fun read over like 2 days. I really hoped there was sequel but alas not yet. Overall such a cute read and would rec for a feb. read.

I really wanted to love this book. I really love willow, but I did not love wicked willowed in the book. I really loved the arc on the t.v because it was short. I liked that it was not bound my cannon but it was not my favorite. I will eventually finish the series but it was rather slow read.

This book was adorable. I was so impressed by it. I really love neil writing and also he crafted not only a engaging story but made it so educational but also taught magic tricks. I read this book so fast and hope we get more books soon. I loved the main characters. It is def. early middle grade but I really loved the story and the world and also how diverse the story was. Such a cute read and i rec. it for anyone who wants to add some magic to their lives!

I loved this willow focused story. It is set right after the eps. in season 7 season of buffy called same time same place. I think this has become my favorite buffy tie in novel. I have always enjoyed willow and zander friendship and this book was prefect. I also love the storyline in this book so much! Very happy I read it!

Overall i enjoyed this book. I was impressed by the world building as always. i really loved the main character and the interesting structure of the novel between present time lines and also letters explaining the past. I loved the excitment of the heist. The science stuff did go over my heads at many points. But it was a fun read!
