I don’t know if I have enough in me to convey how this series made me feel and has wedged itself in my bones and dreams. But I love it dearly. This is made of dream stuff. The best sort.

A cute very mild read. Would recommend the audiobook as it’s a perfect bedtime story. There were some elements I didn’t jive with, but I enjoyed the topics of grief and loneliness covered.

but honestly what an incredible series. I love Murderbot and their experiences with humans, learning to grow and take agency over their life. It’s just a great time. This book was no different. I don’t usually reread, but I’m already planning one for this series after forcing my family to read them too.

idk if I’ll continue this novella series. It’s face paced and witty, but the main character was unbearable for me. She’s just the common “witty sarcastic smart woman” I’ve seen in basically everything. Also how she interacts with Rain icked me out. Idk. Maybe I just prefer it when people aren’t constantly talking about how hot someone else is to a nearly objectifying point.

Also the art style is so good. You can really tell Gege (JJK’s mangaka) is friends with this author and was inspired by this work.
