Thank you to PRH Audio for the ALC of Dungeons and Drama by Kristy Boyce. All opinions are my own.
While I may not have much knowledge about Dungeons and Dragons or theater, I thought this book was a lot of fun!
The friendships and romance were so sweet, and I liked the growth between the main character and her father. I feel like the relationship aspects in this book were done very well.
The setting of the gaming store was also so fun and unique. I liked how the characters bonded so much during their time spent in the store whether they were working or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
I listened to this story on audiobook, and I thought the narrator did an excellent job conveying the characters. It’s also a pretty short audiobook, so if you’re looking for something quick to listen to, I would suggest giving this one a try.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to teens and anyone who has a love of theater or role playing games.

Thank you to Penguin Teen and PRH Audio for the gifted ARC and ALC of These Deadly Prophecies by Andrea Tang. All opinions are my own.
This was a quick and interesting story that had lovable characters and a unique premise.
I liked the fact that I couldn’t figure out who to trust, so the mystery reveal at the end was great.
The narrator did a nice job telling the story and distinguishing between the different characters.
If you enjoyed The Inheritance Games, I think you would like this book as well. It reminded me of that story but with a magical twist.
Overall, I would recommend this book to both teens and adults for a fun mystery.

What it's about:
This sequel picks right up where Fourth Wing left off. The stakes are higher in this book, and the characters are tested in horrendous ways. Loyalties are questioned, and new characters are introduced.
What I thought:
I loved this re-read even more than the first time. Because I knew what would happen, I was able to pick up on a lot of details that I didn’t notice before. It’s making me so excited for book 3!
- I loved this re-read!
- I think I enjoyed this book even more a second time around
- Xaden is so dreamy in this book
- I loved the dragon conversations in this book
- The ending in this book was just as epic and heartbreaking as the first time I read this
🎧 Audiobook Thoughts: I loved the graphic audio. These narrators did an amazing job, and the sound effects and music really added to the story. I highly recommend this format!
⚠️ there is quite a lot of violence in this book, parent death, and swearing
🌶️ there's quite a few explicit scenes, but they are pretty easy to skip over
Graphic: Cursing, Sexual content, Violence
Moderate: Blood, Death of parent
