I truly don't understand those whining about this book being too long.

An EXCELLENT fantasy from a new voice in the genre. The magic system is excellent, the characters strong and believable, and the fight scenes are exceptional.

Highly recommend!!!

A good collection. Some excellent stories. I particularly liked Rattlesnakes, Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream, Two Talented Bastids, Willie the Weirdo, and On Slide Road Inn.

An absolutely AMAZING book about an absolutely AMAZING man. Buck O’Neil was a gift to the sport of baseball and even more so a gift to the human race.
