A fun read. The language is dated, but a fun mystery none the less.

9 Bombs out of 10

Finally got around to reading this one. Was as good as I had heard. A great take on where our horror stories come from.

I was lead to this book from King’s Danse Macabre.

Thoroughly enjoyed these stories. Highly recommend!

Eddie, Susannah, and Roland...only missing one more.

Big upswing in the action from the first book.

9.5 did-a-chicks and dad-a-chums out of 10

One of my favorites, a lesser known King classic.

10 individual threads out of 10

King’s strength is his characterization, and his skills are in full view as we get to know and pity the residents of Haven, Maine. The story gets pretty unwieldy at the end, but overall is an enjoyable tale.

6.5 D batteries out of 10

A really great story from an era of great change. Predictable at times, but a fantastic tribute to a generation of women history has chosen to forget.

Highly recommend

Greg Iles once again puts me square in the middle of a wild ride and the end comes all too soon.

One of the best books about sports I have ever read. An absolute celebration of America’s Game.

If you know ow a baseball fan, or are a baseball fan, you simply CANNOT miss this book!
