A good story, probably my least favorite of the “early works”.

More from the straight point of view of Charlie would have made the story stronger, I feel. Would have liked a more direct finale between her and Rainbird. I know King gets criticized for bad or rushed endings, a criticism I think that is not always warranted, not the number times I hear or read it. But Firestarter is one of those books that helps give him this criticism. Not a bad book by any stretch, but certainly at the bottom of the pile for me.

D.C Stephenson is one of the most garbage, horrible, piece of shit human beings you will ever read about.

The hold the Klan had on Indiana and many other places on the North less than 100 years ago is something people try to hide and outright ignore. This is why it is important to K OW YOUR HISTORY.

This is an important book. Recommend it not as an easy read you will enjoy…but as an uncomfortable read we must ALL read and know…

Excellent collection of stories. Hands down, Danger Word is the best.

An amazing read! A fitting story in honor of the actual history behind places like this. Highly recommended!

Read this for the first time. It’s a good one, I would have like to have seen the movie adaptation stick to the original story. Excellent ending.
