I am engaging in a reread of every book Stephen King has written, and Carrie is the girl that started it all.

My first read was back in 1987 or 88 and I was 13 or 14 years old.

Enjoyed the book much more as an adult, especially the interspersing of the excerpts from the books and articles written “after” the Carrie White affair.

Handing Miss White and her interesting mother a solid 8 hurled sanitary napkins out of 10.

Gave it a re-read in anticipation of the show. Still an absolute favorite.
