One of my least favorite of the Sigma Force books.

A great start but an unsatisfying finish.

5 large skulls out of 10

Beautiful artwork, uninteresting story.

3 meth hits out of 10.

I don't know, this may be my favorite of the series to date.

Someone tell me when a good network like FX is going to make this into a show!!!!!

A good, solid start.

Nice to see a protagonist with a different background.

5.5 fanny packs out of 10

I picked this up to see if my daughter would like it. Bit heavy for her (11).

The art is stunning, well crafted and beautiful. The story is a bit predictable, but not annoyingly so.

A good book to read.

6 horror movies out of 10.

A FANTASTIC biography of a very complicated and self contradictory man.

HIGHLY recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about TJ.

10 bottles of dry French wine out of 10.

3.5 stars.

A slow start, but once the story got going I was all in.

7.5 days in solitary out of 10.

3.5 stars.

A depressing novel. Depressing because it is based on the reality that is our time.

But depressing doesn't make it a bad read. I am glad I read it.

7.5 snowflakes out of 10.

I would give the book closer to 3.5 than 4.

Other reviews on here said the book either equaled or surpassed Killer Angels.

I wouldn't go there. It was a good read, and the battle scenes are superb. But for me, Killer Angels is a superior story.

The dialogue between the soldiers was passable, not great.

If I were recommending one novel about Gettysburg, it would be Killer Angels. But if I were recommending it to someone with a love of the civil war, I would definitely give it a high recommendation.

8.5 fish hooks out of 10.
