Initial reflection:
Fun and quick hockey romance with Black leads. Explored some deeper themes that were embedded through the plot. Will definitely continue the series! Narration was great!

Book 2 gave a good look at some of the actions that our book ones plot into motion. A few more side characters were fleshed out and we got more lore regarding the magic system and those who have and are seeking power.

Solid second book in the series. Looking forward to the next one. 

Initial reflection: first TM Richardson did not disappoint! Had this on my shelf for a minute and went with the audio! Narration was good and the overall pacing worked well with the story. 

Another hit! This was a bit swoony and a bit sweet and really just loved the setup from the beginning. Appreciated how Khalilieh handled some darker topics and really love how she writes teen angst and family dynamics.

Initial reflection; wouldn’t expect anything less from Kimberly Lemming. Funny and ridiculous and creative and spicy! Very fun Romcomfantasy. 

Initial reflection: enjoyed this as a second book and could probably stand on its own because the storytelling and overall plot were thoughtfully crafted. 

Sweet and funny with some more intense moments.
