At no point did I know what was going to happen next. This book was not at all what I expected but I definitely enjoyed the story. 

I can't imagine the courage it took to write down these memories and tell her history. I have such a newfound respect for Viola Davis. This story was so well written. 

This story was very well thought out and written. I enjoyed Sonia's story so much and can't wait to get into more from this author. This story touched on friendships, love for self and others and figuring out when it's time to make lemonade from lemons. This is a great coming of age story

I'm so upset bc I love Kerry Washington but this book did not hit the mark for me personally. 

I enjoyed how she talked about her journey with anxiety, low self-esteem and perfectionism but I feel like this book was written by a perfectionist. I thought this would be a glimpse into getting to know the star better but this seemed to be more of a gloss over on her journey versus actually seeing her as an individual.

I was excited to see Ikenna finally embrace who she is! Gifted and apart from everyone BUT NOT beneath them. The action in this book was exactly what I was looking for from Ikenna and her crew. I enjoyed how close everyone became in this book. All together I loved Part 2 to this Duo more than Part 1 but I really wish it could have been stretched out to a Trilogy. The pacing seems a bit rushed and I have a few questions still. I almost feel like I need to read Pt. 1 for a 3rd time bc there are several instances where I feel like I missed something. 

I wouldn't let this discourage you from reading.. more like setting your expectations

A chance encounter leads into the sweetest love story for Eden and Beck. For each other and themselves.
I enjoyed the evolution of the characters most in this story. This read more like a contemporary read than romance in my opinion. There was a strong focus on the home life battles of our main characters.
There is a 3rd act spiff that ends quickly enough so you aren't aching. 
Overall I thought it was a fine read. I likely will not read again tho

This little update from Benji and Sage was so special! I’m happy to see them still loving one another in their love languages 

Honestly.. Tanon never misses in my eyes and she just keeps proving me right. This holiday short was exactly what I needed for my holiday TBR. Just enough holiday cheer. I love a fated lovers 

Baby when I say this is how you recover from a breakup?! This was seductive, hot and downright genius! I enjoy how Lily writes intentional romance.. What I mean is she gives our characters the type of love that they deserve! I cannot wait to read more from Mrs. Flowers 

AH Cunningham has easily become a new favorite author for me. Her level of respect and detail to the kink community is unmatched and that's what sets her books apart from most. 

For me, this book was perfect.
