I went into this with an open mind and no expectations as I haven’t read many retellings nor have I ever read a sapphic book, but let me tell you, I devoured this. It was fast paced, spicy, and the maleficent and Ursula vibes were on point. Nyxara and Vaela are both badass, I loved their banter and the sexual tension between them was just so good. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys villain retellings, magic and enemies to lovers.

Okayyyy, Rhys is officially my favorite Elsie MMC. HANDS DOWN. I love him, Tabitha, Milo and this entire book so much. 

 

I have been an avid watcher of WWE since I was little so I’m sure you can about imagine my excitement when I found out about the pro wrestler aspect of this story! I had never read one before and now I need more! (If you have any recs let me know!) 

The banter, the heartbreak, the love, the found family vibes…ugh everything about this book was just so perfect. I am already looking forward to an audio reread!
