I had mixed feelings about this when I started reading this. I've read two of Becky's books before and I LOVE her writing, but I knew this was about American politics, something that really confuses me (because I don't live in America).
But I read this book anyway, and I'm glad I did. Although the story at first wasn't that interesting to me, I loved the two main characters, and it was an easy book to read, the pages flew by, and I actually startes enjoying it.
This book taught me a lot, not only about American politics, but also about Jewish and Muslim culture. I'm not religious, I live in a town where barely anyone is religious, so I never knew a lot about different cultures, except for the things I read on the internet. And I'm happy that I now know more about the different cultures and religions.
The writing was amazing, I enjoyed reading about both characters, and I'm definitely going to check out more books by Aisha Saeed!
I would definitely recommend this book. Even if you're like me and barely know anything about American politics, while the main story is about politics, it's not so difficult to read. And there are other storylines.

Wow!! This was so cute! I read it in like an hour? I couldn't put it down, and the art is so beautiful!! I can't wait to read volume 2 and see how the story continues! This made me si happy!
I'm not exactly sure how to rate this. I enjoyed reading this, getting to know more about Leah and Abby, but also just reading more about Simon and Bram made me happy. But I didn't love it as much as Becky's other books, I don't know what it was, but it felt different, I don't know.
I only give whole stars, but otherwise I would've given this 3.5. Neither 3 or 4 stars really fit the way I feel about this book, but I I'm going to keep it at 3.

I was really excited for this book, but I never really got into the story. I felt mostly neutral about the characters, I didn't like them, but also didn't dislike them. The story felt a little flat sometimes, and maybe it's because I love a good slow burn romance, but Leon and Cal got together way too fast for me. Only a few pages after they met. And except for scenes of them being together, that was basically it. (I guess people call that insta love or something?) The relationship didn't develop and I didn't root for them.
I didn't enjoy reading this book, yet I also didn't hate it? I'm confused about how I feel about it.

I read this awhile ago and I thought it was really funny!
I made the mistake to watch the movies before reading the books. In my defense, back when the first movie was released I was in a phase where I didn't care about reading, and didn't know it was based on a book. But I really liked the movie, so since then I've had the trilogy on my to read list. After watching the second movie, I decided that I HAD to buy them, because I want to read the third book before the third movie is released.
The story was fun, I liked Lara Jean and Peter, but I didn't have that feeling. That feeling where I CAN'T put a book down. Where I HAVE to continue reading. While I liked reading this book, I didn't dislike it at all, I also had days where I just didn't feel like reading this book. I never really got into it.
I see a lot of people talk about how they dislike Josh, Margot, Lara Jean and Chris. I liked them in the movie, though except for Lara Jean, I wasn't a big fan of them either in this book. Josh and Margot really annoyed me. Chris wasn't really much there so idk.
I will read the 2nd book, don't know when, I already watched the movie twice so maybe I need to wait until I don't have the story memorized.

Wow! I love this series!!! Charlie and Nick are SO ADORABLE together! Once again I read this in like an hour, and I'm planning on rereading it many many times. It made me really happy. The art is also AMAZING! Can't wait until I read the third volume!
Wow. WOW!
So, at first I couldn't get into it. I liked the story, but I had days where I didn't pick up the book. Today I was stressed and needed a distraction, and I finished reading it. Today I could barely put the book away.
At first, I had hope that Deathcast called the wrong Mateo, and that his father was going to die. This was not the case.
I expected them to die in the gym explosion. They didn't. I expected them to die because of Peck. They didn't.
I did not expect Mateo to die so quickly and sudden. I did not see that coming. I knew he was going to die, yet it still shocked me.
