It wasn't as interesting as City of Bones, but I still couldn't put it away. It's that I have watched the show and know that Clary and Jace aren't actually related, or else it would've felt really uncomfortable to read about them still liking/loving each other in a romantic way.

I've been really interested in Norse mythology lately, so this book was amazing. The first day of reading, I was already on page 70. I didn't finish it yet because I have to start reading books for my exams, but I can't wait to finish this.

Rating: 3.5/5

This book took me longer to read than the first 2 books, although I loved reading about Alicante and Idris, it was easy for me to put this book away and do something else - which was impossible with the first 2 books. But, at the ending, I again could not stop reading.

The only reason that I wasn't completely uncomfortable with romantic Clary and Jace scenes was because I have already seen the show, so I knew they weren't actually siblings. And it surprised me that, unlike in the show, I actually started liking them in the epilogue.

I am excited to read the next book, I've heard many great things about the last 3 books.

This is definitely one of my favorites in the series. There were moments where I could not put this book away, I needed to know what happened next.

3.5

I have mixed feelings about this. The beginning and middle of the book felt slow, and although I loved reading about Simon, Alec, Izzy and Magnus, the storylines about Maia, Jordan, Jace and Clary kind of bored me at first. I also felt really annoying with Clary most of the time. But in the end I couldn't stop reading.
