~I rarely read poetry, but Anna has made me want to read more! Although I may not have experienced everything that is in this book, I still related to the emotions throughout the poems.
~Specifically: "Self-loathing is my native tongue and I let it lap up every inch of my skin because words of affirmation are my love language." I feel attacked lol
~There are many other instances I related to the emotions of the poems, but this one really struck me when I read it. I'd recommend this to people who have experienced yearning for something, or someone, but can't have it and those struggling with emotions and themselves in general.
~I feel like poetry hits different when you can actually relate to the topics or emotions and This Could Be About Either of You delivered that feeling. Also I love the book references, especially Call Me By Your Name :) Oh, and I love the illustrations added throughout! <3

I don't want to go into a critical analysis of this classic since I may have to do that in class. But, it was a decent read, not one of my favorites, but still decent. In the beginning, you have all the animals of the Manor Farm rebel and overthrow Mr. Jones. You see as time goes on the pigs of the farm slowly rise to the top, mirroring humans to a T, when all animals were meant to be equal after the rebellion. There's corruption, propaganda, mass casualties, lies - everything a recipe for disaster.

Like I said, it's a good read and great to think about especially within the historical context of when Animal Farm was written. But, it won't be one my favorite classics that I'd constantly recommend.

This volume covers chapters 135-140. Girrlllllllll, Yona was not playing in this volume. This volume continues with the ongoing conflict between Kohka and Xing. There's a lot going on between the two nations obviously, but there is conflict within Kohka as well. Some not trusting Su-Won, but going along with his orders to avoid any repercussions. Lives are at stake at this point and things could get serious real quick.

I love this manga series so much for having a strong and impacting MC and she's a woman?? I love seeing her love for Hak grow as the story progresses. This series will forever live in my head.

I don't know how many volumes since the gang got split up, but they're finally back together on the same page in this volume. Although, Xing is still having a rough time. Yona in the past few volumes has shown how much character development she's gone through. She's a badass facing everybody with no fear in her eyes. She's trying to protect the ones she loves. So, so good.

Ah, the resolution to an arc!! and Hak was really like Imma say this once and you better get it through your thick skull to Yona lmfaooooo We finally got that break of tension over the past few volumes with some romance and it was great <3

Look I'm docking off 2 stars just for the amount of times I had to hear Feyre's bowels turned watery.

But, in all seriousness. It took 300 pages to get into any major action in to the plot there was in this book. I like how Feyre persevered because of love but she really had little interaction with the love interest?? Don't get me wrong Calanmai and the Summer Solstice were neat interactions - and the meadow scene reminded me of Twilight. Like yeah they got hot and heavy with each other somewhat but to go through trials for him? I don't know about that one. It's also a slow burn romance, which I do love when you get to see the love between characters grow, but I didn't feel like it was justified in this book - I didn't see that growth like I do in a real gnawing slow-burn. I'm glad Feyre felt some kind of happiness at the Spring Court with her painting and not worrying about providing for anybody else. I also feel like I had issues with her downfalls being that she's illiterate and that she provided for her poor family, and the only thing she's good for is hunting and painting?? IDK, I have mixed emotions on this book. Like I enjoyed it enough to finish it in a day but I also see the flaws - it's the same sort of feeling I get reading the Twilight Saga lol

Will I still read the rest of the series? Yeah, probably so. I want to see how everything plays out with Feyre.

Yall tell me why Gojo looks better in the manga than in the anime. I'll wait. It's nearing the Goodwill event in the manga. Things are starting to come together lol Also Todo's first appearance will never cease to make me laugh.

If you're looking for a supernatural manga with a lot of action, this might be for you! Yuji may be another OP main character but how will he handle collecting all of Sukuna's cursed objects and being the vessel of the King of Curses. I love the atmosphere of the manga, but I may be bias because I love supernatural settings lol There's plenty of action and I love the comedy. It's a nice mix for a shonen manga. I'm trying to catch up to the latest chapter in the series and prepare myself for the next season of the anime lol

You know what? I'm glad I listened to every book platform out there and got this book! I completely understand the hype. Although, it may not be for everybody - this was a hit for me. I loved the slow-burn of this book and the secretly loving each other vibes. You have the dark, brooding, protective love interest and the sarcastic sunshine MC. The whole book was miscommunication, so if you're not into that trope be warned. But, seeing Olive and Adam slowly get to the point of not being able to hold back was so good. AND MY GOD chapter 16??? You know what not just that chapter, just literally any interaction with Adam - impeccable. I know it's not the spiciest book out there, but the steam is there. Also, the feeling of Olive actually letting someone into her life - agh was so satisfying, I was happy for her. So, if you love the grumpy and sunshine trope, one bedroom trope, fake dating, slow-burn, and miscommunication. This is for you!!
