I don’t normally do meet-cutes or rom coms, but this one was great. There were moments I wanted to laugh, and I even *almost* cried at one point

While the information is good, a lot of the research included is 10+ years old.

Although the book can be a bit disorientating at times due to it being nonlinear, the overall story is worth a read. This is just one look inside the mind of our “neighborhood crazy guy” or “looney vet.” Death is basically a constant in this book- I recommend not reading if that will be a problem for you.

The story is great, although it is a book that tends to feel like it’s going on forever. I recommend going into this one with the idea that you may not want to read through this one quickly, but the story is really worth a read. I love how real their world is made to feel, and how Tolkien always manages to make the fantastic seem authentic.

I’m not normally a sucker for romance novels or meet-cutes, but I definitely enjoyed this one. The characters are believable, and the science is fairly realistic. If you like love and science, this just may be the book for you

I’m not normally into the more light-hearted mysteries, but I loved this one. Follow Lila as she solves the whodunnit of her ex boyfriend’s murder. While plenty of people wish their ex would disappear, what would you do if someone was trying to make it look like your reality? With an unlikely killer, a relatable protagonist, and one dead asshole, this book is one delectable ride

With some sugar and spice, this cozy little mystery will leaving you craving snacks and the next book in the series
