Slipstream is a sizzling hot and adventurous F1 romance. Lilah is a documentarian who is less than thrilled to find herself tasked with filming F1 racing. But she is truly shocked when she finds out her partner Max has been betraying her on both a personal and professional level. Furious, she teams up with driver Arthur to enact revenge on both Max and the company. As they work together, will sparks fly between them?
Slipstream was a fantastic read! Lilah is an excellent and relatable character. I appreciate how Madge Maril highlighted Lilah’s neurodiversity and difficult childhood. Arthur and Lilah dislike each other at first, only to realize that they will be much better off working together. Fake dating ensues, only to lead to the real thing. I loved their romance and all the moments that build up to it (Arthur comforting her on the plane! Lilah helping with a panic attack! Chef’s kiss). I truly can’t wait to see what Madge Maril writes next and would highly recommend Slipstream.
Readers who enjoy fake dating, F1 racing, and excellent characters should check out Slipstream!
Thank you to Madge Maril, Simon & Schuster, and Netgalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Love Haters is a sweet rom-com that follows Katie, struggling videographer, and Hutch, a rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard. I was so excited by the premise of this book! Katie does not know how to swim and must keep up pretenses enough to hang onto her job. Hutch is a literal golden retriever and their friendship is sweet. However, I didn't feel much chemistry between them and disliked the miscommunication with Cole (who is the actual worst brother/employer of all time). Even so, I will happily read anything Katherine Center writes and am excited to see what she writes next!
The Love Haters is a lighthearted rom-com that would be a perfect summer read!

Phoebe is a diver with an extraordinary ability to find things. A strange sense comes over her and when she follows it, she may find treasure or danger. When diving in Australia with her friends, Phoebe discovers a strange cave. When her friend Gabe follows her in, they have no idea what they’re about to uncover. As the group of friends deal with the strange effects from the cave, they will need to decide how much they trust each other.
Out of Air is a fast-paced adventure below the waves. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful and deadly descriptions of the ocean life that lurks beneath the waves. The descriptions of Australia are stunning and provide an excellent setting for this ocean adventure. Readers should be aware there is a bit of body horror, as Phoebe and Gabe deal with the effects of the cave. This book definitely gave me chills (in a good way!) and made me feel like I’d taken a dive beneath the waves myself. Rachel Reiss is clearly a diver and has a deep love for the ocean. I’m looking forward to seeing what she writes next!
Thank you to Rachel Reiss, Wednesday Books, and Netgalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
