The Love Haters is a sweet rom-com that follows Katie, struggling videographer, and Hutch, a rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard. I was so excited by the premise of this book! Katie does not know how to swim and must keep up pretenses enough to hang onto her job. Hutch is a literal golden retriever and their friendship is sweet. However, I didn't feel much chemistry between them and disliked the miscommunication with Cole (who is the actual worst brother/employer of all time). Even so, I will happily read anything Katherine Center writes and am excited to see what she writes next! 

The Love Haters is a lighthearted rom-com that would be a perfect summer read!
